Holdens Solar Flair Rhododendron Rhododendron ‘Holdens solar flair’ ‘Holden’s Solar Flair’ blooms early mid season, and has medium-large, creamy-yellow flowers, with showy red marks in the throat. Attractive, dark green leaves create season long appeal, especially when the showy, red, dormant flower buds present. Bred in Northern Ohio so it is plenty hardy. Best in partial shade, with well drained, humitic soil, and regular water. Pollinator friendly. prefers moist, well drained, acidic soil.
