Autoscooper 11 Self-Cleaning Automatic Cat Litter Box, with Open-Top Design, Included Safety Sensor and 10L Large Waste Bin, with Trash Bags and Litter Mat, Coffee Brown

This Litter Box combines low cost and functionality all in one. I have had a $400 litter box that was my first automatic litter box. It works, but with 3 cats I had to change the waste bag every other day. I was also thinking that it would be nice to have a second litter box in case my Petkit one stopped functioning. The Petkit one looks like a space ship. I saw this Autoscoop 11 was rated better than all the other litter boxes online and came in at $180 with a coupon. I figured I should get it and try it out. Plus I felt that my larger cats would appreciate the more open design. Well 1 month in, I have stopped getting full messages from the Petkit litterbox as my 3 cats have almost entirely stopped using it for the Autoscoop 11. The waste bag is much bigger and easier to use. I don’t have to change it as often. Plus it is easier to clean, refill, and empty than the Petkit one. The design never fully closes and will never pinch the cats. That being said, my cat did get stuck in it. She slipped in as it was turning and was on the edge as it was closing. Once she got stuck because it was almost all the way rotated and it was open enough for her to get in, but it stopped moving while she was in it and I had to move it so she could get out. She is just a curious kitten, so it probably would not have been an issue with a larger cat. All in all, it was a great purchase and shows you don’t need all the bells and whistles. The only thing I wish it had was an indicator when the waste litter bin was full. That would make it the perfect litter box. [...]
