My female cat pees up, like a male cat spraying. I have always had enclosed litter boxes for her and even then it was sometimes messy. Recently I moved her litter box into the breakfast room and I didn’t want it sitting in the open. I bought a nice cabinet and an open litter box – and now I was back to her peeing on over the sides on to the walls of the cabinet. I bought these shields hoping they would fix that problem.They did!The sticky on the tape is REALLY strong. Be careful to place it exactly where you want it because removing it to change placement is next to impossible. The one thing I was concerned about was the height of the shields. They are much taller than the space in the cabinet. I suppose I could have put the tape lower, below the level of the litter, but that seemed like it would end up messy. Instead I cut them to the height I needed for the side panels. The material is easy to cut, leaves a nice smooth edge, and does not crack. I did not cut the back panel and it sort of bends over.So far there have been no issues and the one time I had to clean one off it was easy. [...]
