This is my 1st real experience at a Beta fish. I’ve had my fish & supplies for 3 weeks & I’m happy with everything. I bought the complete kit which provides everything except a heater. Everything works well. The glass is very clear. The plastic cover seems cheap, but it’s working out fine. The round center, removable cover could use a hinge or a center knob, but it’s not a deal breaker.2.5 gal tank, filter & light are great! I love the ability to adjust the flow of the filtration. I wish they made a 5 gal tank. I’ve had it for 3 weeks & just noticed that looking from inside tank, it appears the front is a reflective mirror. I think she enjoys swimming along side her “friend”.Update: A friend told me the mirror affect will stress out my BETA. I’ll keep an eye on her. Can other owners let me know if I’m crazy?! [...]
